A two-time winner of the CBC Literary Prize (for nonfiction in 2017 and short fiction in 2013), Becky Blake’s stories and essays have appeared across Canada and the US in publications such as The New Quarterly, PRISM, Room, Brevity Blog, Prairie Fire, and subTerrain. Her first novel, Proof I Was Here, was published by Wolsak & Wynn in 2019.

Becky also teaches creative writing and works as a freelance editor. She currently lives in San Antonio, Texas, where she is working on a second novel and a memoir-in-essays.
